Managed to get out after work for a bit, rumours of a rotating cell over London prompted me. I knew there was more brewing to my North so headed towards Maidenhead, then my usual of taking the smallest country lane I can find and disappearing until I get a good view.
Not a bad start on my left. Looked more like a squall line than individual cells (MCS.... :) )
Shows the leading edge, or is it the back edge...
Ahh, just before I got soaked! Changed this to black
and white as it was almost that colour anyway, may make a nice panorama.
Is that a clear slot? Probably not, but it was a nice thought! I reckoned I could see an inflow band so headed into it to get a closer look, but being the UK I didn't get another clear view and I got soaked again so left it.
Could be worse as it is only April!
