Well, I only went out to take some photo's but figured I'd put it up here as a chase as there were a few interesting features, and I've not added anything in ages :) I needed a couple of pics for the UKWeatherWorld photo comp too, it's the penultimate day of the month so I went out into the country to see what I could get. It was fairly bubbly out there, so was hopeful of something. |

Sat in the car for a while whilst it poured, and then
went into this field hoping for some rainbow and corn field type shots.
Then this interesting lowering came over, it was way lower than anything
else, sadly no rotation was evident of any kind.

Then, out the front of the above lowering this feature
appeared! Looks to me like a very small inflow band, again there was no
rotation evident (but then why would there be!)

What the hell is this? High level inflow? Nothing to
get too excited about but it was something else to add!

Thought this was pretty........

Stopped off at Blackbush Airport again (see earlier
chases!), the cells seemed to be a lot more organised. This one was pulling
in moisture pretty fast! I studied it so closely as it went over, hoping
to see some kind of large scale rotation but it was only going one way.

This was on the horizon at the above spot, I turned
it B&W to make it a little bit more arty.. Can you see the moisture
in the foreground? That was being sucked up from below the tree line into
the cell above my head!

And finally, the last feature. A three quarter length
funnel.... Ok, there was no rotation once again and is probably just more
scud being sucked up. Nice to think it might have been though...
