Set off straight from work for this one, and actually chased! Had a large cell just to my north so got on the back edge and followed it. Nice updraft though never really got going, but then it is only April! |

When I eventually found a place to stop it didn't look
as menacing as it did earlier, but the dark base makes a nice contrast
with the rape seed as per below.

I let it go to chase other storms coming, but at one point (whilst tramping about some woods trying to get a better view of another cell but failing) I looked back to my original storm and could see the convection appearing over the trees. Managed to capture a bit of pileus. |

After driving for miles trying to get better views, I ended up at Blackbush Airfield, which is 10 mins from my house. Sat there watching the sun go down and the cb's left slowly disappearing. |
