S P A I N

Had some holiday I needed to use up so first trip to Spain of the year (March). First day and we had really weird skies:

Didn't turn into anything though. Tried a portrait of their dog, I think he looks like an old man here. Not a very warm shot though, I always use auto white balance, maybe I should experiment a little more.
These cans are for target practice with the catapult, I like the colours of the wall, not sure if the cans help or not.

Walked up their local hill, looked pretty photogenic, but think I need to crop about half of this out.

Zoomed in on the misty hills, can see grain in this but not unhappy with it.
The house we stay in, storm raging overhead. Ok, it was just a little storm, and PS has helped here.
My Dad "needed" to do some grinding, so I shut the door and tried some longer exposures. These were the best of them.
I zoomed in a little....
Went for a walk and this is looking back to their house, the almond trees still had their blossom on, which was blown off a few days later in some really strong winds.
Further on in the walk, that olive tree in the bottom right is over 1000 years old.
Bit of sun flare, may take this pic out.
And this one, it had potential as the grass really stood out in the setting sun, but I haven't done it justice.
Saw some flamingoes at the Ebro Delta!
And Marsh Harriers, hard to do them justice though.
Saw some kite surfers, wish I could have spent more time on this shot but it's come out OK
I wanted to try star trails, but with the wind and cloud it wasn't until the last night that I got the opportunity. There was a hole in the roof in one of the old buildings, so I set the camera up there. I have stacked about 40 images to get this effect, and in the last one shone the torch on the ceiling so you can see it a little better. It's come out OK I think, I definitely want to try more of these.
I put the camera outside for another 20 mins, I had no idea how they would come out so didn't spend too long on it. The trails are fairly straight, I could not point to the north star as the moon was quite bright in that area. I need to frame the shot a lot better too :)
