Wasn't sure if I would bother going out or not, but decided to go out walking in the country near here for this one. Finally managed to get a view, and a small shelf cloud was forming as seen below.
Some atmospheric sun rays on the rape seed.
This is the same storm, just a little further away from
me.
Got home, and then decided I should go out in the car,
it could be the last convection we see for some time. Has been a good
year for funnels so far, but I haven't seen any so shouldn't miss any
opportunity! Got this nice updraft but it's moving away from me. You can
see the earths shadow on it.
Took a close up, changed to b&w and increased contrast.
It's ok I guess, not as crisp as big States storm of course.
