U G A N D A
We moved onto the main national park we were headed too, Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Saw Zebra! We weren't in massive wild open plains like you see on the tele, the area was fairly built up with tall grass and trees, so it wasn't easy to spot the animals. We got luck with these guys as they ran out in front of us.

And then we saw elephants, which was really smart. This
one wasn't happy with us being there.
I didn't take this photo of the blue lizard, I had to drive back half a mile to collect my shoe that had fallen out of the car :)

This shows how close the hippo's came to us. It didn't
take a blind bit of notice of us, we could almost reach out and touch
them, though their reputation meant that you didn't. The bank it came
up and down in the background was really steep!
Found a lion the next day, we were lucky as no one had
seen one in 4 days, we had a guide with us which helped. He appeared to
smile here, looks like a your male to me.
Think he got a little annoyed with us so moved on somewhere
quieter.

And a young one! The elephants got a little aggressive
with us being so close, and half charged the car, which was quite exciting.
Moved to another park, and took a walk to a bat cave,
loads of em!

Our last trip was to see some Chimpanzees. Really enjoyed
this, had to track them for an hour or so, this one came running down
the path at us, just a warning. Should have upped the iso to more than
100, but didn't think at the time. A very enjoyable trip.
